High On A Hilltop

High on a hilltop overlooking the valley
I feel the power of God from my head to my feet
I can see the misty fog and it looks like forever
Could this me my Savior coming for me

The table's been set and the death angel's waiting
For a sign for God to take me on Home
No longer in the valley for I have been climbing
Don't cry for me for soon I'll be gone

High on a hilltop overlooking the valley
My old heart soars from what it can feel
Don't you ever doubt the Power of my Jesus
For peace it surrounds me and I know He is real

As I look upward I know my journey's ending
Just a short while and I'll be at rest
So more sorrows on this earth can harm me
I'll be rejoicing with my loved ones the saved and the blest
