I Have But One Goal

In most everyone’s life they have a goal
Some doctors or lawyers and other things I’m told
The goal that I am striving for is the highest ever known
I’m heading for a city and someday I’ll call it Home

I didn’t work for my passage I never paid a dime for one
It’s a blood bought way to Glory so I’ll just travel on
My Savior died upon the cross it was His perfect will
He gave His live to save us up there on Calvary’s Hill

I set my goals for Glory so I’ll obey commands
For I want to see my mansion in that Promise Land
I want to see my Jesus and bow down at His feet
I’ll praise Him forever for humbly saving me

I already have my packing done and waiting on the train
It’s only going to pass here once and wont be back again
If you miss your chance to ride it then Heaven’s not your home
So brother now get ready and don’t be left alone

He is Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end
Time is swiftly passing so prepare to go my friend
Get your praying up to date ask God to save your soul
Then maybe you will understand why I have just one Goal
