SOMEBODY CARES

Well, here I am tonight, Lord
Trying hard to breathe again
As You know, my heart is heavy
I've just lost, a once Dear friend

At times like this, down through the years
And things keep going wrong
I always steal away and pray
Then sing a good old gospel song

But, Lately Lord, I can't seem to sing
My breath is nearly gone
My life would be so empty now
If you take away my song

You have Blessed me more than most
So I feel bad to complain
But I just don't know what I'll do
If I find that I can't sing

I sing when I'm happy
I sing when I'm sad
I sing when things are going good
And especially when they're bad

I sing for my babies
And I watch them smile with glee
And when I sing for you, Lord
Your Love sweeps over me

The Windows of Heaven opens
The Blessings they do flow
I have a job for you,to do, Lord
And that is how I know

I may not sing the sweetest
I may not sing the best
All my life I've sang for Jesus
And I can say that I am Blessed

Tho these earthly lungs are worn out
They are battered , scarred and weak
I still try to do my best
For a Home with you I seek

So when I leave this old world,
New strength, I'll be given
Everybody will know I'm home
I'll sing all over Heaven

FROM THE KING JAMES VERSION

2Chronicles 30:21 And the children of Israel that were present
at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great
gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day
SINGING with loud instruments unto the LORD.

1Chronicles 13:8 And David and all Israel played before God with all
their might, and with SINGING, and with harps, and with psalteries,
and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.
