Wonderful Thanksgivings

A Day of Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the
bountiful harvest with which Canada has been
blessed...In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated
on October 10..... I read once that the harvest
season falls earlier in Canada compared to the
United States due to the simple fact that Canada
is further north.

It's in November in the states.

We give God thanks for a successful harvest.
We thank Him for the many blessings He sends
our way. At this time of thanksgiving we pause
to count our blessings.Let us show gratitude
to God for all that He provides for us from day to day
Just as the seasons change we too change with each
passing day it brings us closer to home.
We thank Him for each new day, for food, clothing
health and strength, for the sun that shines in
the morning and the moon that shines at night.
We give Him thanks for tears and joy. We thank
Him for our life. May our lives carve the light
of Jesus into the hearts of others. Wishing you and
yours a Happy Thanksgiving Day.

"THANKSGIVING TO GOD"

Thanksgiving time is here once more
As the seasons come and go,
Let's remember, God our Creator
For He sends the warmth and the cold.

As we look upon the lovely mountains
And view the beauty of the trees,
We can count our many blessings,
While we watch the falling leaves.

I thank Him for my family and friends,br> For the friendship times we share,
I Thank God for His many blessings,
For all the gifts of love and care.

Thank you God for all that grows
I thank you for the sky above
Thank you for the stars that shine
I thank you God, for you are mine!

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise unto the
Lord, all the lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the Lord is God!
It is he that made us, and we are his;
we are his people,
and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him, bless his name!
For the Lord is good;,
his steadfast love endures for ever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

A woman was asked by a coworker, "What is it like to be
a Christian?" The coworker replied, "It is like being a
pumpkin."God picks you from the patch, brings you in,
washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top
scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of
doubt hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling
face and puts His light inside of you to shine for
all the world to see. his was passed on to me by
another pumpkin. Now it's your turn to pass it to other
pumpkins.

I liked this enough to send it to all the pumpkins in my
patch. You may be only one person in the world, but you
may also be the world to one person Good friends
are like stars You dont's always see them, but you
know they are always there."

Love in Christ, Bernice
