It's me here again my Father
At the foot of a great high hill
It seems each one I encounter
I find it higher still

This time it looks so steep
And rough all around the ledge
The first thing I must do is
Around the devil build a hedge



I'm in the valley of decision
One of the hardest I've ever known
I must ask Thee for a double
Portion of faith to be shown

I'm trying to be strong Lord
With all of my might
But doubts and fears start creeping in
When I turn out the light



Another chance of life for me
While someone else's cease
Or do I dare to take the chance
To have this desired peace

Is it right to take
A piece of another's body part
To supply the very breath
Of life flowing through my heart



Than I think will this give me
A second chance to live
Maybe I have more songs to sing
And much more love to give

Since God created man
From the dust of this earth
He has control over all
From the day of our birth



I must mount on Eagles wings
And wait upon the Lord
Then I must accept the answer
And not ask any more

For not a sparrow falls to earth
That He does not know
I want to do my Father's Will
Until I have to go



Guide me Lord, lead me please
And ease my troubled mind
Send me in the right direction
When it comes the time

He is my Lily of the Valley
My Bright and Morning Star
He holds my soul in His Hands
He knows my thoughts afar



If it should be Thy precious will
That I should come on now
I will walk towards the light
With a trusting smile

Trim my robe with roses Lord
They are my favorite flowers
As my soul sails to Paradise
By Thy precious Power



Raise my head a little higher
I can see the lights of Heaven
Is that the Precious Son of God?
Eternal life He's given

I hear the angels singing
As I step through the gates of Pearl
Into a Perfect Home land
Into a perfect world
